Encinitas Santa Fe Crash 7/30/12
Four vehicles were involved in a traffic collision around 11:00 at southbound I5 just north of Santa Fe Drive that left a car on the center divide. The cars collided in the #1 lane and one car reportedly over-turned and landed right-side up according to the CHP website. One victim was treated on scene and taken away in an ambulance. CHP will be handeling the investigation.

Encinitas Freeway Fatal 7/29/12
One person is dead tonight following a horrific scene where a car flipped and flew off the freeway landing and wrapping itself around a tree. The crash happened SB I5 just south of Encinitas Blvd at about 11:00 P.M. Per CHP, the driver was swerving before the driver lost control of the vehicle and went of the side of the freeway. The passenger was extricated from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on scene by firefighters. CHP will be handeling the investigation.

RANCHO SANTE FE: Fatal Motorcycle Crash Kills Woman
A man's girlfriend is deceased tonight following a horrifying scene in which a three-wheeled motorcycle lost control and slamed into some dense shrubbery last night on Via de Fortuna in Rancho Sante Fe around 11 pm. The male was transported to Scripps La Jolla with life-threatening injuries after complaining of back pain to authorities. CHP will be handeling the investigation along with the Coroner and Medical Examiner's Office. A full press release about the cause of the woman's death will be posted online later today on the San Diego Medical Examiner's website.

Exploding Trash Can at Leo Mullen Sports Park 7/17/12
Sheriffs and FD responded to the south end of Leo Mullen Sports Park just after 7:30 after dispatchers received a call about a trash can that exploded. Sheriffs closed the park for 30 minutes while they conducted their investigation. SO will be handeling

VIDEO: Leucadia Rescue Roll-Over 7/15/12
Firefighters worked to extricate an unconscious man and two other victims after a vehicle sped through a roundabout and flipped over at the intersection of Hymettus and Leucadia Blvd. at 2:15 a.m. in Encinitas. After twenty minuts of using the Jaws of Life, firefighters were able to rush the three seriously injured victims to hospitals. Sheriffs are investigating the crasha as DUI related.
